Maintenance & Repairs

Let licensed USA Cycling Race Mechanic Steve the Bike Guy bring his years of both engineering and bike mechanical experience to professional tune-ups, builds, repairs, and unique problem solutions.

Tune-ups, repairs, and upgrades are by appointment only. Need a quick repair? We can take care of many smaller issues during our Saturday Drop-In Service Days (see below for details).

Tune-Ups

Regular tune-ups can keep your bike running smoothly, as well as save you money in the long run by preventing early replacement of expensive components.

Repairs

When things aren’t quite rolling right, STBG can diagnose the problem, as well as get you back on the road, trail, or rec path in a reasonable time (keeping in mind the current parts shortage may cause delays).

Suspension Service

STBG provides services specifically for mountain bikes, with their suspension forks, shocks, and dropper posts which need a little extra attention to ensure everything continues to perform properly, and safely.STBG provides services specifically for mountain bikes, with their suspension forks, shocks, and dropper posts which need a little extra attention to ensure everything continues to perform properly, and safely.

Tire Service

From flat tire fixes to tubeless setups, STBG can help make sure your “shoes” are ride ready for your next ride.

Saturday Drop-In Service

Why wait weeks for a service appointment when all your bike needs is a few minutes of TLC from STBG. For quick repairs, questions, and consultations we invite customers to stop in on Saturdays for drop-in service which may include wellness checks; flat repairs; brake and shifting adjustments, and more.

Saturday Drop-In Service is limited to two bikes per customer, and 15 to 20 minutes per bicycle. If more time is required, an appointment will be made for follow-up service.

During the busy season – summer of course! – customers will be required to sign in and stay near STBG until their bike can be serviced. We encourage you to visit one of our neighbors for ice cream, food, coffee, and more!

Yay Bikes!
