The plan was to get Geralyn an a ebike so she could keep up with her husband, Roger, on their occasional bike rides around town. But after one test ride on the Scott Sub Active eRide, Roger realized that if he wanted to keep up with his wife, they were going to need two.

And so, in late August, the Natick couple (and Kristin’s parents) picked up two new eRides, and a Thule EasyFold XT 2 hitch mount rack, and haven’t looked back.

In addition to regularly riding on roads around Natick, Dover and Sherborn, Roger and Geralyn have explored popular paths including the East Bay Bike Path in Rhode Island and the Charles River Bike Path from Waltham into Boston.

They’ve also taken the bikes to Newport, Rhode Island, and most recently up to Stowe, Vermont.

We think its safe to say the couple have ridden far more than they have in recent years – we can’t wait to see where they go next on their eRides!
