As we kick off the second year of our summer mtb ride series for women, we want to take a moment to thank all the riders who are stepping up to act as leaders and sweeps. Group rides like ours are only possible with help from riders like you (“cue public radio narrator voice.”)

This year, leaders and sweeps will receive several special benefits including a free STBG t-shirt of their choice, preferred parking, invitations to our “team only” Saturday Service Power Hours, and, while supplies last, a First Aid Kit courtesy of our friends at NEMBA Blackstone Chapter. Each kit comes with first aid essentials as well as a Wilderness and First Aid Guide from the American Red Cross.

While this is not a replacement for trail-side first aid training and certification, we encourage all leaders and sweeps to familiarize themselves with basic first aid.
