For the third year, we collected gently used cycling clothing and gear from our customers, teammates and local riders to donate to Triangle Bikeworks, a North Carolina non-profit “engaging Black and ALAANA youth (African, Latine, Arab, Asian, Native American) in experiential learning opportunities that allows them to overcome challenges, achieve audacious goals, and discover their true selves.”
Fortunately, we had planned to drive to North Carolina this year as we received a record amount of donations! Among the donated items were jerseys, shorts and jackets for both road and mountain biking as well as shoes, sunglasses, gloves and an assortment of other gear. In addition, we were given three boxes of brand new water bottles, jerseys and vests thanks to our friends at the Pan-Mass Challenge.
