STBG @ NEMBA All Skills Day

During All Skills Day on Saturday, October 14, the New England Mountain Bike Association (NEMBA) riders of all ages and abilities can join clinics that fit their riding skill – from foundations, to pressure control and timing,  youth clinics, and full sends into the airbag.

Kristin will be representing Steve the Bike Guy at All Skills Day (because someone has to be at the Shop), helping with two events:

Women & Gender Expansive  Fundamental Clinic | 9am to Noon
Kristin will be assisting as riders take advantage of a controlled environment to focus on fundamental skills like stability and balance through body position and range of motion, operational controls like shifting and cadence, and terrain awareness. If you’re somewhat new to riding and eager to shred trails and have more fun, this session is for you.

Intermellow – Women+ Ride | 1pm
Mary McCarthy, present of the Greater Boston NEMBA Chapter will be sweeping as Kristin leads a 10-mile “no drop, no apologies” women and gender expansive ride.

We will be following the “all-over-Hale” big fun loop that everyone loves from the SE Mass NEMBA Turkey Afterburner event. Covers the Office Loop to Storrow Pond to Oak Hill and everything in between. Moderate pace, 8-10 miles, 2 – 2.5 hours, intermediate to advanced terrain with singletrack flow, some rocks and chunk, rolling uphill and downhill, and some wee bit challenging bridge and dam crossings. Click here for the route on Trailforks and RideWithGPS.
