A sore thumb is no fun

There is no question our 10-year-old daughter loves her new Wolftrax 24″ Alloy Fat Bike from Framed – but she has had one complaint at the end of each ride. . . a sore thumb. It turns out the stock trigger shifter was putting a lot of strain on her small hands, leaving her in quite a bit of pain after approximately 45 minutes of riding.

Fortunately, there was a simple solution – swapping out her trigger shifter for a grip shifter. The new configuration allows her to use her entire hand to shift gears, reducing the stretch and strain on a single digit.

After this week’s Ruckus Ride, Sophie gave the grip shift a “thumbs up!”
