Kristin and Steve joined Team Perry as they kicked off their 23rd year raising money in support of the Perry S. Levy Fund for Gastrointestinal Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Pan-Mass Challenge. Having lost several members of our immediate and extended families to gastrointestinal cancers, it is a mission that hits very close to home.
This promises to be a big team for both the team, as well as all riders, as the PMC celebrates a major milestone – raising one billion dollars – 100% of which has gone directly to Dana-Farber.
If you have ever considered joining the PMC, now is the year to do it – and there is a ride for everyone. You can join Winter Cycle in March, the Summer PMC in August, or PMC Unpaved in September. You can also sign your kids up for local rides, or ride from wherever you live as a virtual or “reimagined” rider.
Looking for a team to help support your training and ride? There are many available (including Team Perry, which is open to new members). And of course Steve the Bike Guy, as well as many local shops, are happy to help you figure out what you need to succeed!
And, finally, you can donate to our rides – every little bit helps, and as we mentioned, 100% of rider raised funds goes to Dana-Farber, and in our case, the Perry S. Levy Fund for Gastrointestinal Cancer Research.
