As of April 1, drivers in Massachusetts are required to provide a “safe passing distance” of at least 4 feet when passing people walking, biking or using wheelchairs, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, and other micromobility devices, as well as roadside workers, horse riders and those on farm equipment.

With over 18,000 cars passing our Shop each day (according to Mass DOT), a strategically placed sign seemed like a great way to help spread the word about the new law. For those who are interested, we are working with a local printer to coordinate a group order of signs.
