Joining PMC Unpaved

Over the past 11 years, STBG has had the opportunity to support the Pan-Mass Challenge in many ways, including providing mechanical support to riders leaving Wellesley on Saturday of PMC weekend.

This October, Steve is putting down the tools and climbing into the saddle to help in a new way – joining PMC Unpaved, an off-road bike ride benefitting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund. During the inaugural event, Kristin and Steve will ride through (and over!) the scenic backroads of the Berkshires in western Massachusetts.

As members of Team Perry, 100% of donations made to our ride go to The Perry S. Levy Fund for Gastrointestinal Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which focuses on research on cancer of the gastrointestinal tract. According to the American Cancer Society in the United States, colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in men and in women, and the second most common cause of cancer deaths when numbers for men and women are combined. It’s expected to cause about 52,580 deaths in 2022.

Together, Steve and Kristin are committed to raising $4,000. Click on one of the links below if you’d like to support their rides – every little bit helps!
