In many ways, the story of Steve the Bike Guy can be told through our water bottles, with each reflecting our brand evolution from our first year in Sherborn to where we are today.
For our fourth generation bottles, Kristin took pieces from the past – the Steve the Bike Guy wording from our sign, the black from our kits, and the STBG race flag broken down into 8-bit treatment – and combined them into a new, eye catching design which also includes our official motto – “yay bikes. yay friends.”
After extensive research and testing, we selected Mountain Flow to produce the new bottles, which are made from sugarcane derived bio-plastic (so while they are not biodegradable, they are recyclable and do not use fossil fuels).
