Two new bike tests were released last week, with Cycling Plus/Bike Radar putting six aero road bikes and six German road bikes to the test head-to-head.

The Winners?
In the aero bike test the new 2016 Scott Foil came out on top for its blistering fast performance, feel, and great looks. Scott Bikes just won 4 stages plus the overall title at last weeks Tour Down Under with the Orica GreenEdge team, who will be riding Scott Foil and Addict models throughout the season.

In the German bike test the Focus Cayo Disc scored first, with its “slick and modern” design that is “pretty much future-proof.” Plus as with all Focus disc bikes, it has the best and fastest thru-axle system on the market. The Cayo Disc continues to be listed as a top road disc bike of 2016 and now comes in both aluminum and carbon versions plus women’s specific models. With space for 30mm tires it can go from fast road to gravel grinder in minutes.
