Join Kristin and friends for a bi-weekly mountain bike ride starting in June. During our rides, we will be exploring the trails in Sherborn and the surrounding area. Throughout the summer we will include opportunities to session skills, learn a bit about trail-side repairs and how to care for your bike off the trail, and meet other local riders!
To participate you will need a mountain bike in good working condition, a helmet (preferably one less than 5 years old), a light (just in case it gets dark at the end), a water bottle or hydration pack, and a sense of humor and adventure.
Organized in partnership with the New England Mountain Bike Association Blackstone Valley Chapter, all participants must sign the 2022 Annual Liability Waiver – you only need to do it once and it covers you for all NEMBA events during 2022!
Ride Leader Meetup & Training Wednesday, May 25 | 5:30pm – 7:30pm
With the goal of welcoming riders of all ages and abilities, we need ride leaders and sweepers to help throughout the season. Leaders need not be expert riders, but they do need to be patient and have the ability to keep a group together.
Interested riders are encouraged to join us for a meetup, ride, and training session. After the ride, Sherborn Firefighter/EMT/FTO Matt Collins will be joining us to talk about how to handle trailside emergencies and other first aid. We will also review trail etiquette, route planning, and leader tips. Click here to sign up to be a ride leader or sweep.
